Battling Ropes And Crossfit Training A New Trend In Fitness

It seems like the ‘old school’ way of working out using bodybuilding routines are becoming a thing of the past with training programs now focusing on big compound functional movements.

At Dangerously Fit Bootcamps we’ve been using these types of workouts for over 7 years and have noticed a big improvement in our clients results.

Not only are these metabolic workouts very effective, but they’re lot’s of fun aswell!

The variety of equipment used during these workouts include, kettlebells, battling ropes, Suspension training straps, dumbbells, barbells, medicine balls just to name a few…. this variation keeps the workouts fresh and exciting ensuring no two workouts are ever the same.

But is this style of training just another fitness fad or is it here to stay?

I believe everything goes round in cycles and what we’re seeing now with Crossfit’s success will lead to even more new innovations within the fitness industry in the coming years.

MMA fitness training is also becoming hugely popular with new MMA gyms opening up all over Sydney.

Will this replace Crossfit.. or will Crossfit continue to grow in popularity?

I don’t know for sure… but as with all cycles – every dog has it’s day – so my guess is something will new will eventually take over.

…the increased popularity in CrossFit and Challenge Race competitions, both of which are essentially high-intensity, hyper-challenging, obstacle-based fitness events that have popped up all over the country.
