The steel mace metronome will prime your wrists, forearms and shoulders for of rotational exercises. It’s also a great drill for learning how to control, stabilize and move the macebell in the front part of the 360 or whilst transitioning from the rack.

Teaching Points

  1. Begin with your feet hip width apart.
  2. Keep your spine neutral.
  3. Grip the end of the handle and keep your hands close to your naval.
  4. Move the mace head from side to side in a controlled manner whilst keeping your hands close to your naval.
  5. Keep your eyes fixated on the mace head as it moves.
