Madonna’s workouts consist of high intensity dance workouts and strength training exercises designed specifically to develop functionality and stamina for the singer’s non-stop shows which features the singer dancing doing high kicks. Madonna’s former Personal Trainer, Tracy Anderson also came up with a workout DVD back then. She was known for the strict low-calorie, low-fat and low-carbohydrates diet that she imposes in conjunction to the sets of workouts that she had designed and worked on for ten years.

Personal Trainer, Nicole Winhoffer lends her perspective on food and cravings. In an interview with Shape magazine, the young personal trainer reveals how she listens to her body’s cravings for food on what it needs.

For instance, if she’s craving for sugar and carbohydrates, it means that she needs to slow down and rest because her body is seeking energy. She goes for healthier options such as whole grains and brown rice. She also lays off anything fried.

If Madonna, at 54,  can still bust those moves in her most recent concert tour as well as anyone twenty to thirty years her junior, that must be quite a personal trainer she’s got there on her team.
