One of the things I love about the steel club is that its a true multi-planar training tool.

Due to the elongated shape of the club you can take practically any linear (sagittal plane) exercise and perform that same movement laterally (frontal plane).

Having the ability to move clubs across the front of the body is excellent for teaching the body to transfer power, accelerate and decelerate laterally, something that very few other training tools can offer.

In this weeks video of the week, I’m demonstrating the steel club side swipe, this is a perfect example of taking a sagittal plane into the frontal plane.
