The steel club snatch is an exercise typically performed with a kettlebell, barbell or dumbbell… but can also be done with a steel club. 

Teaching Points

  1. Begin the snatch by performing a one-arm swing (inside or outside of the legs)
  2. Use the ‘hip snap’ to drive the club forwards and upwards.
  3. Lock out the arm and keep the bicep close top the ear.
  4. Fluidly lower the steel club so it drops back onto a swing.
