Week 1 – CROSS TRAINING

We kicked off the 2016 Summer 6 Week Challenge on Saturday in Queens Park with a full body cross training workout followed by a body weight finisher.

The red team won this week’s team event taking a 1-0-0 lead against the blues and whites.

Well done everyone for battling through the extremely hot conditions.

Week 2 – SUPA HILL
Week 2 of the 6-week challenge done and dusted with a massive workout on the SupaHills at Moore Park.

Over a dozen sprints completed by each transformer combined with cross training for good measure.

The blue team won this week’s team game, leveling the series 1-1 with the red team.

The whites are yet to score a win.

Week 3 – STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!

3 Weeks into the challenge and we’re now beginning to separate the men from the boys (or girls from the ladies).

3 down and 3 to go, the critical 21-day mark… the next 7 days will make or break you – stick with it this week and you’ll be there at the finish.

Congratulations to the white team for winning this week’s team game.

The red’s, white’s and blue’s are now 1-1-1 in the team event.

Week 4 -ROPE MANIA!

Great effort on Saturday guys, 60 minutes of team rope training on Queens Parks large rolling hills in some very hot and humid weather conditions.

A close finish during this week’s team game, with the red’s just beating the white’s and blues at the line.

This means the reds have come back with 2 straight wins in a row and are now leading the series 2-1-1 going into the toughest workout of the 6-Week Challenge…
…and the one you’ve all been waiting for… at Cronulla’s famous Sand Dunes.

Week 4 MarchRope Mania!

Week 5 – THE DUNES!

Congratulations to everyone who made it to the Cronulla Sand dunes on Saturday, a great turnout from all the 6 Week Body crew.

Week 5 is always the toughest session, climbing the huge rolling sand dunes for an hour is a lung burning leg busting killer workout.

And this time round was especially tough, with some extremely hot and humid conditions!

But our DF crew were up to the challenge and hit the hills with determination and spirit.

Well done to the blue team for winning this week’s team game, the blues were the first team to get 3 over the line.

The blues and reds are now neck and neck at 2 wins each, with the whites behind on 1. It’ll be an interesting finish at next week’s team game.

Week 6 – THE FINAL!

Big congratulations to our two new 6 Week Body winners Trina and Tom!

Trina lost 7.4 kilos and 10% of her bodyweight and Tom lost 9 kilos which was 9.6% of his bodyweight… Great work guys!

And well done to the white team for winning the team event.

After trailing the Reds and Blues by 1 point, the whites won the team relay… Then went on to beat the blues and reds in a tug-o-war off.

Awesome finish to a fantastic challenge, thank you everyone for being part of it.
