Clubbell Mills: Should I Rotate the Hips & Pivot? If you’re looking to build rotational strength for sports like golf, tennis, or combat sports that demand torque, incorporating hip rotation and foot pivots into your training can make a big difference.
However, there’s a trade-off. When swinging lighter clubbells, you can pivot your feet and hips freely. But with heavier clubbells, I find it’s best to shift your weight in the opposite direction. This helps you stay balanced and maintain control, preventing the club from pulling you off-center.
