Steel mace pinwheels are another excellent exercise to warm up the wrists. Perform 10 reps each side.

Teaching Points

  1. Stand with your feet hip width apart.
  2. Keep your spine neutral.
  3. Grip the macebell with your hands shoulder width apart.
  4. Hold the mace away from the body with straight arms at shoulder height.
  5. The hand closest to the mace head should be facing upwards with your other hand facing downwards.
  6. Rotate your arms so that the hand closest to the mace head crosses over and finishes on top.
