The Steel Club Switch Mill 180 is a great way to combine the left-hand mill and right-hand mill into one movement.
We essentially perform a mill, immediately followed by a 180 to move the club to the other side of the body, where we switch hands and perform a mill with the other arm.
Instructions
- Start in the order position: Feet shoulder-width apart, toes pointing forward, chest up, wrist neutral, and elbow tucked into your hip.
- Perform the mill: Shift your weight to the side holding the club, cast the club out, and guide it through the circular motion with control.
- Transfer the weight: As the club crosses the centerline, distribute your weight evenly over both feet, then shift it to the opposite side as the club moves across.
- Perform the 180 switch: Once the mill is completed, use a 180-degree movement to switch the club into the opposite hand, maintaining control of the club.
- Repeat on the other side: After the switch, immediately go into a mill with the opposite hand and continue alternating between sides.
