It all starts today!
Week 1 – CROSS TRAINING
Week 1 of the Dangerously Fit 6 Week Challenge off to a flying start on Saturday.
We kicked off the challenge with a cross training workout followed by a 15 minute bodyweight blitz.
The Yellow Team won this week’s team game narrowly edging out the blue team in the team race event.

Week 2 – SUPAHILLS!
Week 2 of the 6-week challenge done and dusted with a massive workout on the SupaHills at Moore Park.
Over a dozen sprints completed by each transformer combined with cross training for good measure.
The blue team won this weeks team game, levelling the series 1-1 with the yellow team.

Week 3 – STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!
3 Weeks into the challenge and we’re now beginning to separate the men from the boys (or girls from the ladies).
3 down and 3 to go, we’re now at the critical 21-day mark… the next 7 days will make or break you – stick with it this week and you’ll be there at the finish.

Next week is the Rope Mania… some say it’s the hardest – I say wait to the Dunes on week 5!

Week 4 – THE ROPE MANIA!
The session consisted of 60 minutes of team rope training on Queens Parks large rolling hills in some very hot and humid weather conditions.
There was some confusion to this week’s team winners between the yellow and blue teams, with the yellow team reaching the line first, but the blue team getting the entire rope of over the line… the rulebook does stipulate that the entire rope needs to be over the line so this week’s team winners are the blues.
This means the yellow and blue team are 2-2 going into the toughest workout of the 6-Week Challenge… and the one you’ve all been waiting for… at Cronulla’s famous Sand Dunes.
4 down and 2 to go… stay the course transformers – only 2 more weeks!
Week 5 – THE DUNES!
Congratulations to everyone who made it to the Cronulla Sand dunes on Saturday, a great turnout from all the 6 Week Body and Tough Mudder crew.
Week 5 is always the toughest session, climbing the huge rolling sand dunes for an hour is a lung burning leg busting killer workout.
But our DF crew were up to the challenge and hit the hills with determination and spirit.
Well done to the yellow team for winning this week’s team game, the yellows were the first to get 3 over the line.
Also a big well done to Ches for smashing the old DF record by over a minute and completing 5 laps + circuit in 47 minutes and 30 seconds, a fantastic effort!
5 down and 1 to go – this week is the last round of the challenge with the final weigh-ins and workout at Centennial Park.

Congratulations to our winners Joel and Carrie.
Joel lost 15.9% of his total bodyweight and Carrie lost 9.8% of her total body weight in just 6 weeks!
