Hey guys, Dan here from Dangerously Fit.

In this week’s video I’m running you through a steel club workout.

This is a workout I’ve been using this week, and today I’m going to run through it with you as a follow-along session.

It’s a full-body mixed Tabata workout.

A typical Tabata workout consists of 4 x 4-minute rounds. Each round includes 8 x 20-second sets with a 10-second rest between sets. Then you take a 60-second rest between each round. Total workout time = 19 minutes.

We’ll be following that same format, but instead of repeating the same movement every round, I’ll be changing the exercise each round to target more muscles and keep things a bit more interesting.

One of the great things about clubs is you don’t need much room, in fact most of my club and mace workouts I do here in my home garage gym.

Exercises:

  • Mill to reverse mill -w- side swipe (swap sides each start)
  • Swing into squat (two handed)
  • Outside cleans (swap sides each set)
  • Side lunge swipe (swap sides each set)

Let me know how you get on… drop a comment on the video and tell me how you found it.
