In today’s video I’m going through the Indian Club Alternating Inside Mill. The alternating inside mill is a continuous inside mill performed on both sides of the body.
Instructions:
- Begin with the clubs in the front stack position (elbows tucked to ribs, wrists are neutral, knuckles facing up). Stand tall and relaxed.
- To start the movement drop one club across the front of the body into the Y position.
- Bring one club into the sword in sheath position, whilst casting the club in front of the body.
- Pause mid-movement and check your positioning, check that you have one club in the Y position and the other club in the front stack position.
- Remember the cues from the inside mill video; front stack, cast, swing to Y position, sword in sheath, inside elbow circle back to the front stack.
- As you become proficient in the movement you can increase your speed, every now and then, stop and make sure your timing is correct.
