Theme: Programming is not about writing workouts. It’s about sequencing decisions.
🎯 Teaching Objective
By the end of this lesson, the coach should:
- See how the 3D Decision Model works in real clients
- Understand how bias is applied without rigid templates
- Learn to narrate programming logic clearly
- Think in proportions — not exercises
This lesson is not about programs.
It’s about how you think.
What This Lesson Actually Does
You walk through 2–3 real client profiles.
You narrate your reasoning.
You show how decisions are made.
No sets.
No reps.
No exercise lists.
Just structure.
Without this lesson, the system feels conceptual.
With it, the system feels usable.
CASE 1 — Strong but Tight
Assessment Shows:
• Good bilateral force
• Limited rotational range
• Weak single-leg control
This is a Force-dominant profile.
Programming Logic
1️⃣ Maintain bilateral strength exposure (don’t remove it).
2️⃣ Expand into frontal and transverse planes.
3️⃣ Introduce offset load lightly to restore rotational control.
4️⃣ Progress into unilateral base exposure.
5️⃣ Delay heavy momentum work until control improves.
Notice:
You didn’t remove strength.
You reduced its dominance.
You restored proportion.
CASE 2 — Mobile but Weak
Assessment Shows:
• Good range
• Poor force production
• Control collapses under load
This is Range without ownership.
Programming Logic
1️⃣ Prioritise fixed load.
2️⃣ Keep base stable.
3️⃣ Build bilateral output first.
4️⃣ Introduce unilateral exposure gradually.
5️⃣ Delay high instability and momentum work.
Again — logic only.
Range is not removed.
It is reinforced under load.
CASE 3 — Control Deficit
Assessment Shows:
• Adequate force
• Acceptable range
• Instability under asymmetry
• Poor deceleration timing
Control is the weak pillar.
Programming Logic
1️⃣ Increase unilateral loading.
2️⃣ Introduce live load gradually.
3️⃣ Add offset tools for rotational deceleration.
4️⃣ Progress complexity in layers — not all at once.
5️⃣ Maintain bilateral anchor in the background.
The focus is not more chaos.
It is better organization.
What Didn’t Change
Across all three cases:
• Patterns remain present.
• Bilateral work remains.
• All three pillars remain.
Only proportion shifts.
That is the system.
Why This Matters
Most programs change exercises.
The 3D Strength System changes stress proportion.
You are not building workouts.
You are managing structure.
Closing Line
Assessment drives bias.
Bias drives stress.
Stress builds durability.
